When the world’s first Tour de France à la Voile M34 race boat ‘Nexus Team Dean Barker’ is launched in April 2010, it will be equipped with the newly released Nexus XL20, a large-digit repeating instrument for high performance boats.

Route Tour de France a la Voile - M34 Tour

|
|
The route of the 2010 Tour de France a la Voile has been revealed during the press conference held at Paris Boat Show. From Dunkerque to La Seyne sur Mer, this round the France sailing race will be an extreme one, as offshore legs will be either very long or very short. The race will have a quick start since most of the points will be given between the Channel and the Atlantic Ocean. Competitors will have to challenge Courrier Dunkerque, the current title holder, as soon as possible.

Summit 35 Act One’s Winning Debut
Summit 35 01 ‘Act One’ owned by Charlie Milligan and Tom Roche won her debut event, the 53rd annual Wirth Munroe Yacht Race by six minutes on corrected time. Act One’s class featured a strong IRC entry, including two TP52’s and a Cookson 50, as well as the new Wally 82 Highland Fling XI in the popular Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach coastal classic, run by the Sailfish Club in memory of Florida yacht designer Wirth Munroe.

De Amerikaanse magazines Cruising World & Sailing World hebben in oktober dit jaar bekend gemaakt dat de Summit 35 is genomineerd voor Amerikaans boot van het Jaar (BOTY AWARD) in de categorie performance yachts. De winnaar van de 2010 BOTY AWARD zal bekend worden gemaakt in de januari uitgave van Cruising World & Sailing World.
